Your privacy at GR Financial Services

GR Financial Services ("GR," "we," "us") is a fictitious business name (dba) of Josué González, a sole proprietor and California real estate broker (California DRE License #01312686; NMLS #487326; Company NMLS #990796) who arranges residential mortgage loans. Office: 416 E Myrtle St, Santa Ana, CA 92701 (office visits by appointment). This notice explains what information we collect through mygrfinancial.com and in the course of helping you with a loan, how we use and share it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Information you give us: name, phone number, email, the kind of loan you want, your language preference, and anything else you type into a form, text, email, or tell us on a call.
- If you apply for a loan: information needed to arrange it, such as Social Security number, income, employment, assets, debts, credit history, property details, and identity documents. We collect this only after you decide to apply, not through the website's short forms.
- Automatically: basic technical data when you visit, such as IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, the referring page, and campaign tags in links (e.g. "utm_source"). We do not currently use analytics or advertising tracking tools on this site.
How we use it
- To respond to your request, prepare a pricing scenario, and contact you by phone, text, or email as you asked.
- To arrange, process, and close a loan with a lender you choose, including credit reports you authorize.
- To meet legal, regulatory, and record-keeping obligations, and to prevent fraud.
- To understand which pages and campaigns bring inquiries, so we can improve the site.
How we share it
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only as needed to serve you or as the law requires:
- Lenders and loan service providers you work with through us, such as wholesale lenders, credit reporting agencies, appraisers, title and escrow companies, and insurers.
- Service providers that help us run the business under confidentiality obligations. These include Vercel (website hosting), the Grok app builder (website and inquiry list), Google Workspace (email, spreadsheets and lead intake), Calendly (appointment scheduling), and Google Fonts (website fonts).
- After-hours help: Evening inquiries are handled by a licensed California real estate broker, who may see the contact details you submit and keeps them confidential.
- Government and legal: when required by law, subpoena, or regulators (for example, the California DRE or NMLS), or to protect rights and prevent fraud.
We do not share your nonpublic personal financial information with nonaffiliated companies for their own marketing. We have no affiliates that market to you.
Financial privacy (Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and California Financial Information Privacy Act)
If you apply for or obtain a loan through us, you will also receive our formal privacy notice describing how we handle your nonpublic personal information. You will receive it with your initial loan disclosures (by e-signature or email) when you apply.
Under federal and California law you have the right to limit certain sharing. Because we do not share your information with nonaffiliated third parties except as permitted by law to provide your loan, no opt-out is needed. If that ever changes, we will ask for your consent first.
Text messages and calls
If you give us your phone number and agree to be contacted, we may call or text you about your inquiry. Consent is not a condition of any loan or service. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop texts at any time, or HELP for help. You can also ask us on any call or by email to stop calling. We honor opt-outs promptly. We do not sell or share mobile numbers or text-messaging consent with third parties for their marketing.
Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. Transactional messages about an active loan may still be sent.
Cookies and "Do Not Track"
The site uses essential cookies and browser storage, for example a "gr-lang" cookie that remembers your English/Spanish choice, and session storage that keeps the campaign tag from the link you clicked until you close the tab. The "gr-lang" cookie lasts one year. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies.
Our site does not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information.
Your California privacy rights
California residents may ask us what personal information we have collected about them, ask us to correct or delete it (subject to legal record-keeping requirements for mortgage files), and ask us not to sell or share it (we don't). We will not discriminate against you for making a request. To make a request, email josue@mygrfinancial.com or call (951) 227-1173. We will verify your identity before responding. GR Financial Services is a sole proprietorship and may not be required to comply with the California Consumer Privacy Act, but we honor these requests voluntarily. Information in a loan file is also protected under the federal Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act.
How we protect information
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and secure document handling. Loan documents are collected through lender or secure portals, not through website forms or ordinary email, whenever possible. We keep records as long as required by law (at least three years, as California law requires for broker records under Business and Professions Code section 10148, and longer when a lender or federal rule requires it) and then securely dispose of them.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
